The stage was set. The popcorn popped. The action packed.
The two main candidates in the race for the Premiership of the Union, Brittalia and Khevo, faced off in order to convince voters that they were the right ones to step into the large shoes of the self-named “Disgraced” Prime Minister Zion Imperium.
The shadow to enlighten is quite dark, since Zion was one of the most well-respected figures in the Union, and many disagree with his own “disgraced” label.
Among the highlights:
Khevo came out in support of departments to increase the government’s size.
Brittalia thought that expanding the Council of State would be better, although he did agree with Khevo.
Brittalia decided that a training program for the UDSAF would be preferable.
Khevo preferred a medal system to encourage participation.
Brittalia wanted to make all non-classified information public to increase transparency.
Khevo thought continuing the neglected system of Prime Minister’s Questions would be best.
Both agreed more allies would be preferable as the regional population grows and surges past 500 nations, and that the regional welcome and recruitment telegrams should be revamped (Brittalia pointed out that the welcome telegram is over 300 days old.)
The candidates acknowledged that the other was a good thinker and had shaped the Union significantly.
