State of Emergency Declared in the Union

The Founder of the UDS has declared a State of Emergency this afternoon after a dispute between a newly arrived nation and the WA Delegate over his vote on the recent General Assembly proposal, "Choice in Education". This dispute led the new nation to engage in spamming obscene and inappropriate messages via multiple accounts across the Regional Message Board in the region, many of them being anti-government and anti-democracy. Many believe that this nation was motivated by an extreme-conservative ideology due to the content of the messages.

Regional officers were quick to respond to the incident. The Founder was able to suppress many of the messages, and removed the perpetrator and his alts from the region. To prevent any more mischief, the former Speaker and current Prime Ministerial candidate Brittalia was appointed as "Security Officer" of the region. When asked about the current status of the region, Brittalia told the Union Times "As of now, the region is safe. We are confident the perpetrator will not return, and out of caution a GHR (General Help Request) was filed."

It is unknown when the State of Emergency will be lifted, but prominently, Premiership Candidate Brittalia spoke out against the perpetrator:

"I would like to remind everyone that if you do support conservative ideas and policies, you are more than welcome to engage in debate, discussion, run in elections, etc. What Washington and Fairfax is doing is NOT the way to go about this, and by no means is everyone in government part of a ‘liberal democratic order’. Our former Prime Minister Zion Imperium was a conservative, and we've had no issues working with him at all. On a different note, I'd like to reassure everyone not to worry about this, because we've had incidents like these hundreds of times before where someone is threatening the Union over something ridiculous, and each time they happen we are more and more prepared to handle them."
