Constitutional Reform Stagnated
Although the government called for a constitutional convention three months before the deadline, nothing is getting done.
According to a source familiar to the convention, the Discord channel hasn’t had any productive activity for several days now, and the channel has dipped into a period of bickering, including former Deputy Speaker Khevo, acting as an observer to the convention, getting involved with Councillor Zion Imperium.
Zion accused members of the chat of “*****[ing] about me”.
Khevo was recorded in text chat telling Zion that there was “no need to tell me to shut up”. He also suggested that people wouldn’t be “*****ing” about Zion if “y'all moved things along here”.
Although several improvement plans have been detailed, none have been acted on, and the only vote, on adopting a new preamble, was voted down.
